Could someone send email pretending to be you?

Checks the records that stop criminals sending email from your domain: SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

Reads public DNS records only. The look-ups go from your browser to Cloudflare’s public DNS; we don’t see or store the domain.

What does my company need?

Tell us what kind of company you are and how many people you have. We’ll work out both plans for you.

Question 1 of 2 What kind of company are you?
Question 2 of 2 How many people in your company use a computer?

Are you ready for Cyber Essentials?

Three sample questions from Cyber Essentials: Requirements for IT Infrastructure v3.3 and the Danzell question set, in force since 27 April 2026.

Question 1 of 3 Is multi-factor authentication (MFA) switched on for every user of every cloud service that offers it, such as Microsoft 365 and your social media accounts?

Automatic fail if “no”

Question 2 of 3 Are critical and high-risk security updates for operating systems and for router and firewall firmware installed within 14 days of release?

Automatic fail if “no”

Question 3 of 3 Have the default admin passwords on your routers and firewalls been changed to strong, unique ones?

What your result means, and what we’d do

The short version of whatever the checks told you. Run a check above and the explanation for your result appears here.

  • Fail Matches your result

No DMARC, or DMARC set to “none”

Receiving servers aren’t told to block email that pretends to come from your domain. That’s how many fake invoice and payment emails get through.

What we’d do: set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC and move you to enforcement. MYLE Email Protect, part of MYLE Premium, includes DMARC enforcement as standard.

    Cyber Security
  • Pass Matches your result

    Your domain is protected

Spoofed email using your exact domain should be rejected or sent to junk. Look-alike domains are a separate risk.

What we’d do: keep it that way. Primary domain and DNS management is part of every MYLE plan, and staff training covers look-alike domains.

    Managed IT Support
  • Plan Matches your result

Help when things go wrong: MYLE Essentials

Companies that only need IT help when something goes wrong, but want their backups, email protection and domain sorted.

What we’d do: give you pay-as-you-go IT support at our reduced rates for MYLE clients (Rates 2026), back up your email, Teams and SharePoint, and manage your primary domain and DNS.

    Compare the plans
  • Plan Matches your result

Running smoothly every day: MYLE Premium

Companies that want day-to-day management, unlimited support and 24/7 security monitoring.

What we’d do: give you unlimited remote support, 24/7 human-led threat detection, Microsoft 365 monitoring, email protection, cloud backup and staff training.

    Managed IT Support
  • Automatic fail Matches your result

MFA isn’t on for every account

Under the Danzell question set, not using MFA on a cloud service that offers it is an automatic Cyber Essentials fail.

What we’d do: harden Microsoft 365 with multi-factor authentication on every user and admin account, and help you get certified.

    Cyber Security
  • Attention Matches your result

Updates take longer than 14 days

Critical and high-risk updates must be installed within 14 days. Under Danzell, a “no” is an automatic fail.

What we’d do: patch Microsoft and third-party apps regularly, automated and manual, as part of MYLE Premium.

That’s fine. An IT Assessment looks at the whole company and points you to what matters most.

What we hear when we first meet a company

The six worries we hear most often.

  • You’re not sure client data is safe

You hold sensitive client data and you can’t say for certain who can open it, or what would happen if a laptop went missing.

  • Nobody really owns your IT

It falls to whoever is least busy, and nobody is looking at the bigger picture.

  • Phishing and ransomware feel closer every year

One convincing email could expose client data or redirect a payment.

  • The same problems keep coming back

Fixes are slow, and the same fault turns up again a few weeks later.

  • Your insurer or a tender wants evidence

Cyber Essentials, security questionnaires and policies you’re not sure how to answer.

  • People need to work from anywhere

Home, court, a client’s office: securely, and without fighting the technology.

Who we help

Who we work with

Most of our work is with professional and regulated companies, which have to show clients, insurers and regulators how they protect data.

  • Solicitors

Client confidentiality, payment-diversion fraud and the questions your insurer asks.

    I’m a solicitor
  • Accountants

Busy-season reliability, secure client portals and protection for every payment.

    I’m an accountant
  • Another regulated business

Cyber Essentials, ISO and insurer questionnaires, with evidence you can show.

  • Something else

Not a solicitor, accountant or regulated business? We look after all kinds of companies.

What our clients say

Just Gilbey offers a complete support package, which means that I no longer need to worry about anything computer-related. Always happy to help, David provides honest advice and even showed me useful tools that I was already paying for but was completely unaware of.

Vicky ParkinsonManaging Director, VSP Accountancy Ltd

We called upon Just Gilbey IT Solutions during an IT disaster we encountered whilst working on a Bank Holiday weekend. They responded immediately, travelled on site, worked through the night and were able to get our environment fully operational the next day. I received a detailed report which included steps taken to recovery, the root cause of the issues along with a priority list of tasks to be done going forward. We look forward to working with Just Gilbey IT Solutions in the future on our supplier list.

Clare WebsterSenior Systems Administrator, Daifuku Logan Ltd

Just Gilbey have already moved our email systems to the cloud, resulting in significant improvements in ease of use for our employees. They continue to recommend and improve our IT systems, which has also saved us money. David is very professional and easy to work with.

Rob DerryManaging Director, Jointline Ltd

David helped define, develop and document our company IT policies, which helped form part of our larger IT strategy. I was very happy with the level of professionalism whilst at the same time keeping it simple and easy to understand. I look forward to working alongside Just Gilbey Ltd in the future and can recommend them to anyone else for IT assistance and support.

David Gilbey, founder

Meet our founder

We started Just Gilbey to end the quick fix

David Gilbey, with over 25 years in IT, founded the company in Hull in 2015. He’d seen too many businesses paying for cheap fixes, and an IT industry that was happy to fix the same faults again and again.

So we built Just Gilbey the other way round. We take ownership of your IT, deal with the cause of a problem so it stays fixed, and explain things without the jargon.
